June House Book Page
I had some time tonight, so I completed a house book page. The base is from Maya Road. I painted the base pink and yellow, but almost covered it all up. The usual! I covered the base with wrapping paper with a European monuments theme. The Eifell Tower image is from the wrapping paper. The remaining images are all from a vintage French fashion magazine(available at Collage Stuff). These magazines are full of great illustrations and advertisements. After I got all of the images glued down, I overstamped some of them with one of my favorite text stamps. I highlighted some images with gold Perfect Pearls. I applied yellow paint around the edges with a little bit of gold Perfect Pearls.

Best Friends ATC
This is my ATC design for the Collage Stuff May ATC swap. It's a blue-themed swap. I started out with vintage text covering my ATC base. I painted it lightly with Claudine Helmuth Studio Sky Blue paint. I bought some Perfect Pearls at JoAnn's with a 40% off coupon, so it was time to put them to use. I used the Collage Stuff Stylish Background stamp - stamped it with the Perfect Medium that came with the Perfect Pearls and covered the stamped image with silver Perfect Pearls. It worked! It's hard to see the Perfect Pearls image, but it's there. I overstamped it all with a stamp from the Tim Holtz Urban Tapestry stamp with black ink. The image of the girls is from the Collage Stuff "Color Me Cute" collage sheet. I finger painted the off-white blank raffle ticket with the Studio Sky Blue Paint. I printed the words on a transparency. I used Diamond Glaze to adhere the words. A Maya Road clear jewel flower completes the design. I used a blank ink pad all around of the edges of the ATC to finish it off.

Back of House Book Page
Here's the back of the page. The background was painted blue with Claudine Helmuth's Studio Sky Blue Paint. I transferred butterflies from wrapping paper with gel medium on to the background, but they are almost covered up. I overstamped it all with one of my favorite text stamps in black ink. Bits of text from a second grade children's text were added. The images of children are from the Andrew and Precious Portraits collage sheets. I gave them all wings from the wrapping paper. I made the rings using a Stickles glitter bottle as a stamp. I dabbed gold paint on using a Ranger Gold Paint Dabber. I smeared the gold paint and covered everything over with Ivory Golden Glaze. The last step was to overstamp parts of the page with a crackle stamp. Enjoy!
New House Book Page
Here's a new house book page, "Fly Away". The base is a Maya Road Home Ring Book Page. I painted it with with Claudine Helmuth Studio Paints, Landscape Green and Sky Blue. I transferred a bird with a gel medium transfer to the background, but it's almost all covered up. I cut the nest out of some paper that I bought at an art supply store. The girl image is from the Angel Faces collage sheet. I painted her yellow with some Studio Yellow Pastel paint. The eggs are from the same paper as the nest. I put the girl in the nest and glued the nest down the Claudine Helmuth Studio Gel Medium and used the gel medium over the top of the nest too. I glued down the eggs. The words "fly away" are from a vintage second grade text book. The gold wings are the Collage Stuff Small Gold Angel Wings. The bird at the top is from the British Bird Tobacco Card collage sheet. To make the circles, I used a Stickles glitter glue bottle like a stamp. I inked up the bottom of the bottle and "stamped" it on the page. The text stamp is from the Tim Holtz Urban Tapestry stamp set. I have some cool fibrous handmade paper that's off-white. I painted it blue to match the page and glued it down with gel medium. I added a little bit of glitter with the Stickles glitter glue. I used sequin waste as a stencil to the make ink "dots". A little brass key on the chimney was the finishing touch. I'm working on the back of the page now. Enjoy!

"I See France" ATC
This is my art for the April Collage Stuff ATC swap. Hopefully, I'll have time to mass produce them so that everyone participating in the swap gets one!
The background paper is almost all obscured, but it is a very nice paper with French advertisements.
I used my favorite gargoyle from the "Gargoyles Minis" collage sheet and covered him in "Scattered Straw" disress ink.
The French couple is from a vintage French postcard from the "Romantic Minis" collage sheet. The image is printed on a transparency. Part of a vintage French dictionary page is behind the transparency.
There's a "Watch Face Seconds" (one of the better ones) and an Eiffel Tower sequin applied in the right-hand lower corner.
Half of a "Gold Butterfly" German scrap is at the top left.
I printed out the words "wish you were here" and applied "Scattered Straw" distress ink to them. All of the collage elements are outlined with Copic markers.
The whole ATC is edged with a green Brilliance ink.
A tip - I like to use "Glossy Accents" or "Diamond Glaze" to adhere my small transparcies.
