Back of the Front Cover

The due date for mailing the pages for the Collage Stuff Fly Away LFB (little fat book) swap is quickly approaching - July 1. This means I have to get with the program and get 18 hand-made front covers done and 18 digital back covers done. I have the front of the front hand-made cover done. This is the back of the front cover. I have 3 done, so only 15 to go. None of them will be exactly the same.
I started out with some floral scrapbook paper. I used a piece of chipboard and pulled white acrylic paint down the paper to tone it down a little. I used one of the stamps from the Tim Holtz Bitty Grunge stamp set to stamp the rays. I used Perfect Medium and brushed a gold Perfect Pearls over the stamped image. I overstamped the entire background with a text stamp and black ink.
The cemetery angel is one that I don't have on a collage sheet yet. I printed it a light color and used a light blue Copic marker to give it a blue tint. I sprayed the colored image with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist so it shines! The angel image was glued down. I highlighted it with a bronze Copic marker.
The sheer clocks are from the Maya Road Sheer Clock set. The brass gear in the middle of the clock is one of the new Collage Stuff large solid brass gears. I used various Ranger alcohol inks on the large brass bird charm (Collage Stuff). The clock, gear and bird are all applied with glue dots.
I printed out the text, colored it with the same light blue Copic marker, sprayed with the Marshmallow glimmer mist and outlined with the bronze Copic marker.
Yippee! My design is done. It's not too labor intensive, so I can get these done on time.
