Summer 2012 CHA Day One

Hi everyone and greetings from Chicago!  The CHA show opens tomorrow, but workshops were held today.  I was lucky to be able to participate in a Ranger workshop featuring Claudine Helmuth and Dyan Reaveley.  I love all of the Dylusions products, so I was thrilled to be able to take this workshop.

Claudine had the first 2 hours of the workshop and we made a mixed media canvas.  My art in workshops is never that great.  I found that I did like the Studio paints in the little mini bottles.  They were very convenient and easy to work with.

In Dyan's part of the class we made a little book with the biggest shipping tags I've ever seen.  Ranger is carrying these now.  They had to be at least 8 inches tall.  We used the Dylusions spray inks, stamps, stencils and learned some techniques from Dyan.  It was a lot of fun.

I had to have my photo taken with Dyan.  After all, we are both redheads!

I was not able to get into any other workshops, but I don't mind.  I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to take the workshop with Dyan.  Stay tuned for more CHA happenings Tuesday and Wednesday.  Thanks for stopping by!
