ATCs for a Private Trade

These ATCs are for a private trade with my friend, Miriam.  I used inventory tags (Collage Stuff) for the base.  I used a variety of different stencils from Tim Holtz and The Crafter's Workshop with Distress Oxide inks for the backgrounds.  The stamped images are from Unity Stamps.  They are colored with various pens including Copic Markers and Spica Glitter Pens.  I added various embellishments and Tim Holtz stickers.  Enjoy!

2017 Handmade Calendar Swap

At the Collage Stuff Yahoo Group, I'm hosting a handmade calendar swap.  The pages are 4" x 6" and 13 pages must be handmade.  The backgrounds are made with acrylic paints and stencils.  I used Dylusions stamps, a Unity stamp, and a Dina Media stamp.  The images are colored with glaze pens, colored pencils and souffle pens.  Usually I made all of my 13 pages the same, but this time it's looking like they will all be different!  Thanks for stopping by to see some of my calendar pages.

"Mermaid" Art Journal Page Swap

This month's art journal page swap has a "mermaid" theme.  I love the new Dylusions stamps that have the cat and dog heads on human bodies.  I used these heads and made the tails from the "Doodle Delight" stamp set. The images are colored with colored pencils.  I used black and white glaze pens on the dog image.  I finger painted mostly Dylusions paints in the background.  I used Dylusions and Stencil Girl stencils.  The vintage dictionary page was cut sort of in a wave fashion. The words are a Tim Holtz sticker.  My take on mermaids is different, but different is good! Thank you for coming by my blog!

The Big Picture Art Journal Spread

I started this out with some printed scrapbook paper and applied drops of Golden High Flow paints and smashed the pages together.  I used a stencil and a baby wipe to remove some of the paint.  I used stencil girl floral stencils with white and purple paint.  I between the flowers I used a sort of honeycomb stencil girl stencil with white paint.  The black center image is a Stencil Girl stencil with a piece of white floral lace applied in the center.  I used a white glaze pen to highlight it.  I applied the floral stamped image randomly with black ink and added a few purple circles.  The bee image from Dina Wakely.  I colored it in with purple and yellow paints and a gold paint pen.  I used a yellow china marker to add yellow around the words and the bees.  I finished the bees off by highlighting them with the gold paint pen. Thanks for coming by my blog!

Mixed Media Birthday Card

I finished this birthday card tonight.  I've been cleaning off my brayer (when making gelli prints) on a vintage book in the French language.  I used one of these pages for the background.  I tore it out of the book, so the left edge is torn. The paints are Dylusions. The woman image is a stencil from Stencil Girl.  I used a Dina Wakley alphabet stencil.  The book page is adhered to a 5x7 white card.  First I had the card front in a hot pink, but it looked off, so I added the black paint around the edges.  The stickers are from Tim Holtz.  I printed the black/white checks off on my computer.  I outlined the words with a black glaze pen.  I have several more brayer cleaning pages stenciled with this image that I'm going to use in my art journals.  Thanks for coming by my blog!
