Halloween Cards!

I have started on my Halloween cards.  I used a rubber stamped image from Unity Stamps.  I colored the image with Copic markers and Spica glitter pens.  So, if the broom fits, ride it!

Sunflower ATC Swap

At the artisttradingcards yahoo group, I'm hosting a sunflower ATC swap.  The background started with a vintage ledger page. I used acrylic paint and stencils from Tim Holtz and the The Crafter's Workshop to make the background.  I added strips of washi tape here and there.  The sunflower stamp is from Unity Stamps.  It's colored with Copic markers, Spica glitter pens and glaze pens.  The flowers were outlined with a stabilio all pencil. I added little jewels to each.  I love sunflowers and have a large sunflower tattoo on one of my ankles.  The sunflower is the Kansas state flower and I'm from Kansas originally.  Happy sunflowers to you!

ATCs for a Private Trade

These ATCs are for a private trade with my friend, Miriam.  I used inventory tags (Collage Stuff) for the base.  I used a variety of different stencils from Tim Holtz and The Crafter's Workshop with Distress Oxide inks for the backgrounds.  The stamped images are from Unity Stamps.  They are colored with various pens including Copic Markers and Spica Glitter Pens.  I added various embellishments and Tim Holtz stickers.  Enjoy!

Paint Chip ATC Swap Challenge

The March ATC swap at the Collage Stuff Yahoo Group is a paint chip challenge swap.  I cut paint chips into strips and glued them down on the background paper.  The image is from the Collage Stuff Broken Collage Sheet.  I colored it with Copic markers.  The gold German scrap border is also available at Collage Stuff. Thanks for coming by my blog today!

Standards Art Journal Spread

This is another art journal spread in Lin's journal.  The base of the pages are vintage phone book pages.  I added some stenciled deli paper done in red tones with glitter bead gel added for texture.  It was too bright, so I toned it down with white paint.  In the middle of spread, I used a flower stencil with red paint, toned down the red with white paint, stamped in black and more white paint over the black stamping.  The woman image is from Tim Holtz.  The woman images were colored with Copic markers and a red glitter gel pen.  The words are a Dylusions stamp.  Thanks for coming by my blog!
