Beatles Private Swap

I'm swapping ATCs with my friend, Miriam.  She choose the theme for this month - The Beatles. This is one of my ATCs for our swap.  I used a vintage French textbook page for the background.  I heavily stenciled it with buff paint and Stencil Girl stencil. The red letters are stenciled with a Dylusions stencil and the dots are stenciled with a The Crafter's Workshop stencil.  In my stash, I found a large clock rub-on.  I found the Beatles photo on the web and matted it with black cardstock. The album was released in 1963 according to info I found on the web. Twist and shout!

August Art Journal Page Swap

The recipient of my August art journal page swap requested vintage.  The front of the page uses images from Tumble Fish Studio.  The background is made from stencils and acrylic paint.  China markers were used for highlights.  The back page uses a page from a vintage bird book, and egg images from Collage Stuff.  The background is vintage text heat embossed with a background stamp.  I used gelatos for the yellow and blue text pages.   Thanks for coming by my blog to view my art journal page!

July Art Journal Page Swap Entry

For July, my recipient for the art journal page swap asked for bright colors.  Here they are!  I had fun creating these pages!

March Art Journal Page Swap

 The theme of the pages I needed to make for March was "home".  I used stencils by Stencil Girl, Tim Holtz, and The Crafter's Workshop with acrylic paint.  On the home sweet home page, I used a Tim Holtz die and Tim Holtz label letters. On the heart makes a good home page, I started out with a gelli print, put down the women mask and sponged black paint around the mask.  After that, I put another stencil down over the mask and sponged gold paint. I used a white signo pen and black Fude ball pen. I had fun making these pages!  Thanks for taking a peek at my pages!

Birdhouse ATC Swap

The February swap at the Collage Stuff yahoo group is a birdhouse ATC swap. I wanted my birdhouse ATC's to have a Valentine's Day theme too.  I cut a rough house shape from chipboard and covered it with an old phone book page.  Then I stenciled with acrylic paints using Tim Holtz and The Crafter's Workshop stencils.  I used washi tape for the "roof".  The red hearts and black birds are German scrap (Dresden trim) items available at Collage Stuff.  I painted some paper with gold paint to fill the heart shape. To back the house shape, I used black illustration board embossed with gold detail embossing powder and script stamp.  I edged everything with black paint.  Thanks for coming by to view my birdhouse ATC's!
