August Art Journal Page Swap

The recipient of my August art journal page swap requested vintage.  The front of the page uses images from Tumble Fish Studio.  The background is made from stencils and acrylic paint.  China markers were used for highlights.  The back page uses a page from a vintage bird book, and egg images from Collage Stuff.  The background is vintage text heat embossed with a background stamp.  I used gelatos for the yellow and blue text pages.   Thanks for coming by my blog to view my art journal page!

Asian-themed art journal pages

 For the art journal page swap for April, my pages needed an "Oriental" theme.  I used images from Tumble Fish Studio for this page.  I outlined the images with a Fude ball pen and applied washi tape as a frame.

I painted this page red and then stenciled black and silver flowers with a stencil from Stencil Girl.  I used pages from a vintage dictionary on both pages.  I glued the dictionary page onto cardstock and die cut it with a Tim Holtz die for the lattice.  The playing card is available at Collage Stuff. I applied washi tape on the left side of the page.  Thanks for visiting my blog today!
