March Easter/Spring Tag Swap

The March swap at the Collage Stuff Yahoo Group is an Easter/Spring themed tag swap.  The girl image is from Hidden Vintage Studios.  The butterfly, trims and Victorian scrap are available at Collage Stuff.  The background is vintage text painted with a dark yellow paint.  I stamped a text stamp with plum ink and the circles are made with plum ink.  I printed the purple checks off on my computer and trimmed them down.  Elements are outlined with a couple of different black pens. Thanks for coming by my blog!

Wish my hair.... art journal page

Here's an art journal spread that I finished today.  I absolutely love to put flowers for women's hair.  Dali painted women with heads that composed entirely of flower blooms. I would love to hair that was made out of flowers.  The background is made out of stenciled circles using a The Crafter's Workshop template.  The stamped circles are from a fabulous new stamp set from Ellen Hutson.  I love it.  It'll all just circles and dots that you can arrange any way that you like.  I also used a Tim Holtz layering stencil for the letters and numbers.  The woman stamped image is from a Tim Holtz Stamper's Anonymous classic stamp set.  The words were made from Tim Holtz chit chat stickers and label letters.  I colored the paper flowers with paints and used glue dots to attach them.  I found some dimensional tiny yellow roses in my stash and added them to flower hair.  I had fun making this.  Thanks for coming by my blog!

A Halloween Card

Here is a Halloween card that I made this afternoon.  I used a Dylusions stamp and two Tim Holtz stamps.  The images are colored with various markers.  I added a little bling to each of the spiders.  Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Strong Women Art Journal Spread

Another journal page!  On the left side of the page - the tag - I swiped some gesso on it and it let dry.  Then I added watercolors.  I stamped the Dylusions image, the Dina Wakely words and used another stamp to add some texture.  I made the background using a vintage book page and swiped different acrylic paints across it.  I used a Crafter's Workshop template and modeling paste.  I didn't like it, so I white washed it with gesso.  I painted the area under the grid fabric black and splattered some black paint.  I added the grid fabric and the tag.  The right side had the same background and I "fixed" it the same way.  I stamped the Dina stamps on cardstock, cut them out and applied watercolors in the background.  Thanks for stopping by!

My Art Journal

Here are two more spreads in my art journal.  I have always loved the quirky Dylusions stamps.  I colored in the images with my Spica Glitter Pens so everything is sparkly!  Thanks for stopping by!
