The March swap at the Collage Stuff Yahoo Group is an Easter/Spring themed tag swap. The girl image is from Hidden Vintage Studios. The butterfly, trims and Victorian scrap are available at Collage Stuff. The background is vintage text painted with a dark yellow paint. I stamped a text stamp with plum ink and the circles are made with plum ink. I printed the purple checks off on my computer and trimmed them down. Elements are outlined with a couple of different black pens. Thanks for coming by my blog!

At the Collage Stuff Yahoo Group, there is an ongoing monthly 4x4 page swap. This is page that I created for my June page. I used images from Collage Stuff, Itkupilli's Etsy shop and Tumble Fish Studios at deviantscrap.com. The brass embellishment, brass crown, postage stamps and German scrap keyhole are from Collage Stuff. This is just pretty much cut and paste. I did a little digital imaging - changing colors, and putting the woman's face in the mirror. Thanks for stopping by!

Paris Chunky ATC
I'm still making chunky ATCs. This isn't much different than making regular ATCs. It's just that the design goes down on a wood block. I used some new "feet" that I got in stock at Collage Stuff. I find these much more stable and sturdy than the dice I've used previously. The dice do add a nice touch of whimsy, but make the chunky ATC sort of unstable. I used images from Collage Stuff, Tumblefish Studio at deviantscrap.com and from Crow About Studio B at deviantscrap.com. The embellishments are from Collage Stuff. The wood block is from Collage Stuff. I took probably 50 photos to try to get some that looked like the real ATC in person and none of them are quite right. It's much more vibrant and clear in person. Try your hand at a chunky ATC! At the Collage Stuff Yahoo Group, there is a chunky ATC swap going on. There's plenty of time to participate!

Fly Away Back Cover

At the Collage Stuff yahoo group, we are starting on a new little fat book swap. The book is titled "Fly Away" and it is a bird-themed LFB swap. I make the covers for these books. The back cover is always digitally designed, while I make hand-made front covers. I used images from the following Collage Stuff collage sheets in this design: Angel Faces, On the Wing, Lovely Nests and the I Love NYC. I made the "fly away" at the Acme Label Maker website. Several elements were added by using PSP brushes - the crown on the bird, the gear around the eye and "branches" around the nest. I like to put words over lips, as though the words are being spoken. After I thought I was done with this, I went back in and added the words "dance on the wind".

New Gothic Arches
I finished a gothic arch last night- front and back. I used images from the new Cemetery Imagery collage sheets available at Collage Stuff.
This one uses an image from the Cemetery Angels #12 and Cemetery Imagery #1. It's made with scrapbook papers, vintage text and sheet music, acrylic paint, crackle paint, white lace flowers painted gold and gold brads. I left the transparency loose so that it can be moved around on the arch.
This one uses images from the Cemetery Imagery #2 collage sheet. This one has layers of acrylic paint, gesso, and is stamped/embossed and overstamped. I used Distress inks and white Brilliance inks.
